Ebony's Bearcat was bred by "breeder of the Century" S.W. Beech and sold as a 2 yr old to the Dr. Andrew Sisk family of Columbia, TN. Under saddle Bear was proving to be an outstanding show horse, until a stall injury as a 4 yr old ended his career.

Bear has been bred sparingly, with only a dozen or so foals on the ground as of 2007. Even with so few of foals, he has managed to make his mark as a quality breeding stallion, producing not only padded and lite shod show mounts, but trail pleasure and breeding stock as well. He is a rare gem by any standards!

Bearcat comes from a very long line of quality breeding at its finest, by some of the most reputable breeders past and present. As great as it is to be one of the last living son's of WGC Ebony Masterpiece, Bearcat's strong maternal side offers the much sought after genetics of the legendary WGC Triple Threat coupled with that of WGC Go Boy's Shadow. Bear's dam, Threat's Keepsake, is the dam of the great Show mare Pride's Keepsake and of Mark's Keepsake, dam of Howard Hughs.

A great breeding stallion doesn't just happen, they are carefully bred over generations. The greatness of a stallion shows in his foals!
